Vice President/Transportation Engineer
Ms. Stewart joined Urban Systems, Inc. in December 2005 as an Engineer Intern during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In 2007, Ms. Stewart was promoted to an Associate of the firm. She became a Principal of the Urban Systems, Inc. in 2012. Ms. Stewart’s responsibilities include project management, design, and management and training of the firm’s technical staff.
Ms. Stewart has extensive experience in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning. She has worked at all levels on a variety of projects for both public and private clients. Ms. Stewart’s expertise includes traffic control device plan design, traffic signal design, traffic impact analyses, signalized and unsignalized intersection analysis, and traffic signal timing studies. Ms. Stewart has experience in roadway and subsurface drainage design as well as construction management.
